Let's see. About me...
Well, I have been a crafter since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I have dabbled in sewing (making bunnies and bears), designing t-shirts for my mom and sister, tole painting, paper piecing and crafting, designing with felt and other doodads, flower arranging, drawing, traditional and digital scrap booking. In other words I love to learn and experiment new things in scrapbooking.
I inherited my talent from my dad, who started wood working after he was honorably discharged from the Navy due to an injury.
My love for traditional scrap booking started after my husband and I were married in 2004. My first projects included putting together my wedding and honeymoon album and then creating Christmas cards for my friends and family. When I discovered I was running out of room for my scrap book supplies, etc., I soon switched over to digital scrap booking. After my curiosity took over, I ventured out into designing my own digital products in 2008 or somewhere thereabouts.
As is the story with most designers, I have been hooked since then. These days and a couple of external hard drives later, I am proud to say I am a digital scrapbook designer and I LOVE IT.
I love putting my creativity to work. If I see or think of something while I am out and about, I take out my trusty scribble pad and jot down my idea.
I started designing exclusively for Digital Scrap Designs in September, 2011. When that store closed its door on October 31, 2016, I decided to take a leave of absence.
Happy scrapping!
